Time-lapse (7 hours in 90 seconds) of Root (Up) installation at Otis Street Arts Project, for WALL: Curated by Molly Ruppert. Root (Up) was created in response to the story of a local woman who immigrated from El Salvador and became a community organizer—to help other immigrant moms and their families establish roots in this country. This is part of my Elle Peace Project series about hope resilience. This project is funded in part by funding from the Montgomery County government and the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County. Special thanks to Ulf Wallin, Hana Clarice, David Mordini and Molly Ruppert!
